Summary: We collect minimal data needed to run the app. Your habit data is yours. We don't sell your data. You can delete your account anytime.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Pakkahabits, we collect:
- Account Information: Email address and name (from Google Sign-In)
- Habit Data: The habits you create, completion history, streaks, and karma points
- Device Information: Browser type, timezone, and device type (for notifications)
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics to improve the app (via Vercel Analytics)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide and sync your habit tracking across devices
- Send push notifications at your preferred times
- Calculate streaks, karma, and achievements
- Improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely using:
- Supabase: Our database provider (EU/US servers, SOC2 compliant)
- Local Storage: For offline access on your device
- Encryption: All data transmitted over HTTPS

We use minimal cookies:
- Essential Cookies: For authentication and app functionality
- Analytics Cookies: Vercel Analytics (anonymous, no personal data)
- Error Tracking: Sentry (to fix bugs, anonymized)

7. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
- All personal data is deleted within 30 days
- Anonymous analytics data may be retained
- Backups are purged within 90 days

Pakkahabits is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
